Hunter's Moon

Moon Knight may be the more famous Fist of Khonshu, but there's another player in town - Hunter's Moon!

Initially introduced as an adversary for Moon Knight, Doctor Yehya Badr, also known as Hunter's Moon, became a valuable ally and important figure in Marc Spector's Midnight Mission.

With Moon Knight currently missing, it's up to Hunter's Moon to continue his mission of defending the darker parts of the Marvel Universe. Hunter's Moon is an Egyptian physician chosen by Khonshu to become another avatar for his vengeance mission on Earth. He received the memories of all previous Moon Knights when he took on the mantle and has a telepathic connection to all past avatars of Khonshu.

His powers include enhanced strength, speed, and endurance, as well as access to rituals that heal even the most severe wounds. Hunter's Moon was created by Jed MacKay and Alessandro Cappuccio and made his first appearance in MOON KNIGHT (2021) #1.

He initially set out to eliminate distractions from Moon Knight's true mission, including the Midnight Mission, but after seeing how much vampires cared for Moon Knight, his opinion of his rival began to shift towards begrudging admiration. Hunter's Moon has now taken on the mantle of Moon Knight and is continuing the important function of the Midnight Mission by looking after supernaturally oriented figures discarded by society.

With Marc Spector's allies in the Midnight Mission by his side, Hunter's Moon is proving himself worthy of the Moon Knight title as he keeps the shadows safe.
